Booking Your Session
To secure your date and ensure we can fully dedicate our time to you, all bookings require a non-refundable deposit. Without this deposit, your session is not confirmed. If you are under 18, we require a parent or guardian to contact us to discuss the session details.
Payment and Preparation
The remaining balance for your session must be paid by 12:00 PM the day before your scheduled shoot. To avoid a $50 late fee, please ensure this payment is made on time. For events or on-location shoots, please contact us before booking. The timing for these sessions can be flexible and may be affected by travel and other commitments. Once your appointment is booked, you will receive a confirmation text and additional information to help you prepare. Please note that all prices are subject to change.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
We understand that things can change. You are permitted one reschedule if you do so at least 72 hours before your scheduled appointment. A $50 rescheduling fee will be applied if you fail to meet this guideline, and your deposit will be forfeited. Please remember that your deposit is non-refundable if you cancel. We do not offer same-day rescheduling. If you need to reschedule on the same day as your session, it will be considered a cancellation, and you will need to rebook.
Arrival Time
To make the most of your session time, please arrive on time and ready to go with your hair and makeup done. Our session time includes any preparation you need to do, such as getting dressed. If you believe you will need extra time, you can add it during the booking process. Additional time may not be available on the day of the shoot.
Location/Venue Disclaimer
The Photographer is not responsible for any limitations or restrictions imposed by a venue or location, including but not limited to, photography permits, time constraints, or specific rules regarding lighting, props, or space. The Client is responsible for securing all necessary permits and informing the venue of all photography-related needs and details. The Photographer is not responsible for any photos that are missed due to venue-specific limitations or rules.
Client-Provided Items and Injury
The Photographer is not responsible for any personal items, including props, clothing, or accessories, that are lost, damaged, or stolen during the session. The Client agrees to hold the Photographer harmless from any injury that may occur to the Client or their guests during the session, and assumes all risks associated with the location and any props used. The Photographer is not liable for any claims for physical or mental injury to the Client or any other person as a result of the session.
Photo Quality and Artistic Style
The Photographer is not responsible for a client's choice of attire, makeup, hairstyle, or their appearance. The Client is hiring the Photographer based on their artistic style and portfolio, and agrees that the Photographer has full creative control over the final images, including pose, location, and the final editing process. The Client agrees that the delivered photos are the only ones available and that any additional edits or raw files will not be provided. The Photographer cannot guarantee a specific number of images unless otherwise specified in the package.
Props and Styling
Our goal is to help you create a meaningful visual story. However, we are not responsible for providing personal wardrobe, or out-of-studio props such as balloons, cakes, or confetti. We highly encourage you to bring any items that are special to you and will help us "turn your moments into memories." Any specialized props that you require us to provide will be an additional cost.
Travel Costs and Other Expenses
The Photographer will provide a quote that includes an estimate for travel costs, permits, and other expenses. The Client acknowledges that these are estimates and that final costs may vary based on unforeseen circumstances, such as last-minute travel fees, parking costs, or other expenses.
Errors and Omissions
While we strive for perfection, we are not responsible for any missed shots, forgotten poses, or a lack of specific moments if they were not explicitly communicated in writing prior to the session. The Client agrees to provide a detailed shot list for a wedding or event at least one month in advance to ensure all key moments are captured. We are not responsible for any missing photos due to a lack of communication from the Client, or because of a lack of cooperation from the subjects.
Receiving Your Images
Your photos will be ready in 5-8 business days after you have selected your favorite images (not including weekends or holidays).
You have three days from your session to let us know which images you would like to have edited. After three days, we will select the images for you based on the package you booked. If you are on a tight deadline, a $100 rush fee can be applied for a 24-72 hour turnaround.
File Delivery, Storage & Archiving
Unless otherwise agreed upon, all final images will be delivered via a private online gallery. The Photographer is not responsible for the Client's ability to download, save, or back up the files after they are delivered. The Photographer will only store the final edited images for up to one year from the date of the session, after which the files may be permanently deleted. The Client is solely responsible for creating multiple backups of their images. The Photographer is not responsible for the loss of any images after the initial download period has expired.
